This Hack Completely Changed the Way I Do My Makeup! Sculpt the PERFECT Makeup for Your FACE SHAPE

Hello peachies 🍑 The Golden Ratio is a theory which is used extensively to underlie our perception of attractiveness, or in other words to explain what makes someone beautiful.

The Italian Renaissance polymath, Leonardo Da Vinci, used the Golden Ratio equation and realised that the closer a face or object gets to this number, the higher the level of its perceived beauty. In fact, Leonardo is thought to have used the golden ratio when painting the Mona Lisa!

Studies of the most beautiful women in the world have shown that they have countless instances of this ratio in their faces. This proves symmetry to be a key factor in perceived attractiveness, especially in female faces. It is surprising to know that human tend to perceive a face more aesthetically appealing, when it features the Golden Ratio, because the human eye can process it faster, and that causes our brain to feel ‘pleased’!

In our video today, we’re taking a thorough look at the Golden Ratio, and how we can apply this theory to level up our makeup game to enhance our visuals better!

Hope u guys will love this video!♥☺ pls enjoy peachies!

  1. Would wearing a medusa piercing shorten a long philtrum the same way as contour? I have gold jewellery for it (having ditched black as it's too contrasted) and can't tell if it looks better or worse.
Thank you for your tutorials, they're amazing!

  2. I just wanted to say that I love all your videos. You always aboard everything in a pragmatic and really clear way❤️❤️
    Keep on doing ❤️✨

  3. As a person who enjoys sketching or drawing (I'm not a professional), Red Velvet's Irene's face is the hardest to draw for me because her facial features are well-balanced.

Because in order to capture the essence of a person's face, you have to exagerrate that person's facial feature which is always noticed by people like a mole on the cheek or large eyes or a pointy nose or bushy brows.

In Irene's case, it's hard to draw her because once a feature of her is drawn smaller or larger, her face will not look like her anymore.

    * The edit is for the grammar.

  4. Of all the topics that were here, I only had low eyebrows and a short face))

Well, it's for the best)) As for the eyebrows – I'm glad that they are charismatic))

  5. There was a study talking about its not actually symmetry thats the key factor but averageness (Thats why those filter that flip the same face so its both side looks weird despite being symmetric)

  6. I truly love this channel, I only tend to see these topic in like Chinese web novels and luckily occasionally the translator will go into detail but doing the research in English never tends to show up

  7. I thought that this would help me and at the same time make me insecure. But only helped me! tho… I have a pretty balanced face it seems, I had a reconstructive nose job, and I can't seem to find the right makeup after it. Everything now is just right (except a liiiiiittle short of a forehead and the killer of eyeshadow: hooded eyes), and after measuring I am more confused than ever. Cause even tho everything "fits" whenever I put makeup now just makes me look weird… and I wanna wear it!!!!
Sounds like a very first-world problem, and it is… but I don't know, what should I do? mix and match techniques? like if a do one that elongates something, using another to "counter" that? Maybe, I tried, and still, it looks weird… anyone has any tips? I would really appreciate the help, I miss enjoying the art of makeup

  8. Thanks to this video that it s about education and references. Of course everything should depend on your own eye shape and personal preference. Though I like the tips from Lili in her dou ying video about giving a bit of highlight on top of the middle part of the upper lid, but when I tried to give highlight on the upper eyelid area just like she did it doesn't look natural and overwhelming. Coz my upper eyelid is flatter than hers. So again practice makes perfect.

  9. So my eyes are set balanced, I have balanced length of philtrum, long-ish forehead that isn't too protruding, moderate middle section to longer lower section BUT with very low eyebrows and hooded almond eyes.. This literally saved my life lmao

  10. 2:55 this calculation makes NO sense to me 😭 i measured my face, i divided the length by the width, and my value came out to be 1.35.. i’m sure i have long face, my face is definitely an oval, but according to the video a value under 1.6 means my face is relatively short.. which can’t be correct.. i never thought it was short 💀

  11. I just measured my face and I happen to have the same distance in all my "thirds" 😵 that's fantastic! I always thought my upper third was too wide for my face, and that it was making me look disproportionate, it's kinda freeing knowing I don't need to worry about that 😊 I can now focus my attention on my eyes' makeup since I have very close set eyes. I love this channel

  12. Thank you for this. I have a baby face and want to always look more sexy and mature. It’s funny cause I think my mid face is the longest horizontal third yet I’m still babyfaced. I guess it’s cause my overall face is still short lol

  13. You dont know how this video really makes me appreciate my look😭 i never think im pretty but it’s actually all because i never tried the “balanced” style that suits me better. Thank you so much i learn so much from this❤

  14. Like literally after subscribing to your channel , my makeup routine n everything have been changed so many things the entire life I had been doing wrong but learning things from here have literally made. My face more younger n youthful looking
I get lotttttt of compliments on my features too❤❤❤❤❤ love ya
