Noelle Dunn is ready to leave her charming small town for the big city. Before she leaves, Noelle is finishing her graduate work by doing an efficiency evaluation of Kessler’s, a Christmas ornament company, and the town’s primary business. That is until Kessler’s brings in its own efficiency evaluator, the granddaughter of Old Man Kessler himself. The board of directors has sent her to decide if the company is worth keeping open. Not only does it turn out they want to close the business, but Noelle learns that her new boyfriend is also a Kessler and has been sent there to decide the factory’s fate. But Noelle will not accept defeat and uses her ingenuity to negotiate a deal between Kesslers and a major mega store that wants to build near their town. Her boyfriend even earns his way back into her heart by helping Noelle make the deal.
