The biggest container ship in the French Merchant Fleet – CMA CGM ‘Bougainville’ weighing in at a staggering 187,000 tonnes departs from the container berth assisted by two Svitzer tugs. We had the pleasure of being on the Harbour Masters launch – only to find we were to escort this ship through Southampton Water and onwards to Cowes!! Unreal!
